HOW IT ALL STARTED...
During the 1976 winter festival, a small ad appeared in Victoria University’s “Salient” magazine,
advertising a meeting for an on-campus radio club.
The following year Radio Active joined the airwaves at 1260kHz. They only had a two week license,
but it’s been 45 years now, and we don’t think anyone’s noticed...
