From 2001-2003, Radio Active 89FM joined with the Wellington Fringe to present “Breakfast In A Bubble”.
The Breakfast Show left Active Towers and jumped down to Paris Texas, on the corner of Manners Mall &
Victoria St., for live on air interviews with Fringe performers from 7-10AM.
Hosted in 2001 by the iconic Peregrin Armstrong-Jones, and Reginald “Whoopsie” Smythe, the day’s
wind-speeds were reported by investigative journalist Fiona The Weather girl.
