It’s the new millennium, time for a party!
2002 marked 25 years of broadcasting. Headlined by The Phoenix Foundation, fresh off
their debut LP, Active DJs past and present assembled for a celebration, a slice of birth-
day cake, and a limited edition 25 year double CD!
One Love continued in the capital, finding its new home in the Wellington velodrome,
and keeping up with the times, teams were invited to submit their VHS tapes (and later
DVDs) for a DIY music video competition.
2007 celebrated 30 years of broadcasting with “RetroActive,” 30 years in 30 hours,
culminating in thrilling live coverage of the DJ match at the Newtown Workingmen’s
Bowling Club.
